Today's business environment demands high levels of technical and analytical skills, innovative thinking and an ability to apply new technologies to deliver practical, efficient, sustainable solutions.

To meet these demands, Haden's culture of performance excellence provides ongoing opportunities to employees for the continual upgrading and development of skills.
To recruit and retain the best professionals in the business Haden has developed a variety of programs that provide our employees with the skills, knowledge, mentoring and the environment to succeed in the workplace. For our newer employees, these supplement our award winning apprenticeship programme that currently has over 100 apprentices working in various areas of the business.
The Environment
Haden’s presence throughout Australasia and our activities in the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) industry place us in a strong position to influence our key stakeholders in sustainable environmental practices.
We are committed to providing leadership in environmental sustainability and encourage environmental sensitivity amongst all Haden employees. To that end, we are accredited to ISO14001 and offer a range of sustainable maintenance and energy auditing solutions for our customers.
Initiatives implemented within the organisation, including our commitment to the Green Building Council of Australia, the New Zealand Green Building Council, the CitySwitch initiative in our Head Office (Australia) and our sponsorship of The Warren Centre, are supported by our Environmental policy. Senior Managers are accountable for implementation throughout their businesses.
In all of our activities, we are focused on delivery of our commitment to sustainable environmental management and continuous improvement in our environmental performance.
Haden is a Gold Sponsor and an active participant in the University of Sydney Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering low energy high rise research study.
The study investigates barriers to the uptake of energy efficiency measures in existing high rise office buildings.

The Community
The Property Industry Foundation in Australia was established by prominent members of industry in 1996 to raise funds for charities working with homeless and ‘at risk’ children. Haden are Gold Sponsors of the Property Industry Foundation and assist with fund raising and activities.
Our employees participate in various fund raising activities run by the Foundation throughout the year.
National Museum of Australia. Haden Engineering Services built the environmental control systems for the Museum’s award winning building when it opened in March 2001. Since then, we have continued to maintain the Museum’s systems and have played an integral part in not only ensuring the preservation of the Museum’s objects on display, but also the comfort of Museum staff and visiting patrons.
In 2006, Haden extended its relationship with the National Museum of Australia and became one of the Museum’s valued sponsors.
Haden and the Museum have since developed a strong relationship that concentrates on and works towards the benefits of both organisations.

Quality
It is the policy of Haden to implement and maintain an effective and efficient quality management system, planned and developed in conjunction with all functions.
The Haden Quality Management System is documented within policies, procedures and their associated documents and is used to provide the assurance of quality with a focus to continually improve the product and service for our customers.
The Haden Quality Management System implements this policy and is accredited to ISO 9001 – 2008.
